ABOUT US

In 2006, the Early Childhood Education Alliance, Inc. (ECEA) was formed as a non-profit agency to
support early education initiatives for families and early learning centers in Alliance, Ohio. ECEA is a
unique collaboration of Alliance City Schools, the University of Mount Union, and the City of Alliance.
ECEA is grounded in research-based best practices for young children and supports the strengths and
needs of families in the Alliance community.

BOARD MEMBERS

ECEA has 7 board members.  Three board members are appointed by the city of Alliance, two are from Alliance City Schools, and two are from The University of Mount Union.  The board chair is Patricia Stone.  Patricia Stone, Morgan Giebel Cannon, and Kathy Kramer represent the city of Alliance.  Amy Cramer and Adam DeMonte represent Alliance City Schools.  Abigail Honaker-Schroeder and Mark Black represent The University of Mount Union.  The board members meet monthly.
