FREE Family Event! Experience interactive hands-on exhibits with a museum atmosphere and a Bounce House. A special Marine Biology exhibit will be provided by Dr. Amy Elhinney from the University of Mount Union. In addition, the Alliance area preschools are bringing the museum to you. For two hours, they will be inviting you to see themed museum exhibits with hands-on learning activities that they have created. Some of the themes included are Dinosaurs, Geodes, the Farm, Construction, Wheels and Transportation, the History of Dr. Seuss, and more. Learn about Alliance area preschools, including our newest center--Precious Cargo, and see what the centers have to offer while also engaging in family fun. ECEA will be providing food and beverages. While here, you can also learn about and sign up for SPARK.
As part of the annual Alliance area Carnation Festival, the Early Childhood Education Alliance (ECEA) is hosting a Children's Story Hour with the Akron ZooMobile. The children will learn about and experience animals close up while having the opportunity to ask questions. There will also be a zoo themed book read. The event is FREE and starts at 6:00 PM.
