Alliance Employment Promise
A Community Promise for Working Families
The Alliance Employment Promise (AEP) is a unique partnership created by the Early Childhood Education Alliance and Alliance Area Development to support working families and strengthen our local workforce. This program connects employers, early learning centers, and families through a shared commitment to high-quality early childhood education and community investment.
Through AEP, participating employers provide monthly childcare support for eligible employees whose children attend one of seven trusted early learning centers affiliated with ECEA. By reducing barriers to reliable, quality care, the program allows parents to focus on their work with peace of mind—knowing their children are safe, nurtured, and building strong foundations for lifelong learning.
More than a workplace benefit, the Alliance Employment Promise reflects ECEA’s belief that when families are supported, children thrive—and when children thrive, our entire community grows stronger.
How AEP Is Making an Impact in Our Community
Since its launch in 2019, the Alliance Employment Promise has made a measurable difference for families and employers across the Alliance area. Dozens of children have received support through the program, helping parents maintain stable employment while ensuring access to safe, high-quality early education environments. Participating employers have reported strong employee retention and increased loyalty, demonstrating that family-focused benefits truly strengthen the workforce.
With the support of an Early Care and Education Business Partnership grant from the Department of Children and Youth, AEP continues to expand—serving additional children and increasing hours of operation at participating centers. This growth reflects the power of collaboration and the shared belief that investing in families today builds a stronger, more resilient community tomorrow.
Real Support. Real Results.
The Alliance Employment Promise is delivering real support and real results in Alliance. With more than 100 children served and strong employee retention among participating businesses, AEP proves that when families have access to trusted early learning centers, everyone benefits. Thanks to recent grant funding, the program continues to expand—serving even more children and strengthening our workforce across the community
