Union Avenue Preschool
Union Avenue Preschool is a ministry of Union Avenue United Methodist Church, committed to creating a caring and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool-aged children. Through a curriculum that emphasizes creativity and hands-on learning, the center supports each child’s emotional, social, and intellectual growth in a loving and faith-rooted setting. The focus at Union Avenue is on a positive first school experience through engaging activities that encourage curiosity, forster growth, and nurture learning.
Tuition varies depending upon the number of mornings the child is enrolled.
Two days per week – $90 per month
Three days per week – $120 per month
Four days per week – $140 per month
Five days per week – $155 per month
The center accepts both private pay and funding through Ohio Job & Family Services. Scholarships are available to help make preschool affordable for all families. Publicly Funded Child Care, Alliance Employment Promise, and vouchers are accepted.
Cost
Union Avenue Preschool serves children ages 3 to 5. Infant or toddler care is not available.

The preschool holds a GOLD rating from Ohio’s Step Up To Quality system, demonstrating solid performance in early learning standards.
Step Up to Quality Rating
Preschool hours are 9 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The center offers extended hours from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, and provides both before- and after-care services through its Kids Connection program, an optional enrichment program available to preschool families before and after regular hours. Kid Connection time is billed at $7 per hour and is available each weekday from 7:15 a.m. through the start of morning classes and after classes from 11:30 a.m. until 5:45 p.m.
