Small Wonders Discovery and Learning Center

Small Wonders at West Branch combines the warmth of a home-like atmosphere with intentional early learning in a beautifully repurposed school building. Children benefit from spacious classrooms, generous outdoor play areas, and daily caregiver support that includes meals, diapers, wipes, and more at no extra cost. With flexible scheduling and a wrap‑around care approach, this center aims to ease life for busy families while nurturing curiosity, growth, and joy in every child’s day. 

Weekly rates for childcare and preschool include:

  • Infants (0-18 months) – Full Time: $262/week, Part Time: $185/week

  • Toddlers (18-24 months) – Full Time: $235/week, Part Time: $170/week

  • Preschool (3-5 years) – Full Time: $205/week, Part Time: $136/week

  • School Age (School Year: Sept. - May) – Full Time: $145/week, Part Time: $110/week

  • School Age (Summer: June - Aug) – Full Time: $193/week, Part Time: $135/week

The minimum enrollment is two days or a minimum of 16 hours per week. ​​Publicly Funded Child Care, Alliance Employment Promise, and vouchers are accepted. We also accept JFS Childcare Assistance and Childcare Choice as well as Foster children.

  • Diapers & wipes for children under 2.5 years

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and an Afternoon Snack

  • Infant Food & Instant Formula

Children are accepted from infant (6 weeks) through school-age (up to 12 years), including comprehensive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

Small Wonders has received a GOLD rating under Ohio’s Step Up To Quality system, reflecting a strong commitment to early education excellence.

The center operates Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering full wrap‑around care that supports families throughout the entire day.

Hours

As the center serves infants through preschool, it does not require potty training for enrollment, especially for the youngest age groups.
